Happy Art Club – Terms & Conditions

Booking a Class

All full-term classes, workshops, and drop-in sessions must be paid in advance. If payment is not received, we cannot hold your child’s place. All bookings and payments are made online to give us ample time to prepare a fun and creative session. All booked classes must be used during the current term and cannot be carried over to the next term.

Attending a Class

  • Children should wear clothes suitable for messy activities – art can be fun and a little messy!
  • There is no toilet in the classroom, so please ensure children use the facilities beforehand. Toilets are available at the QE Centre.
  • Children aged 5–10 must be collected by an adult at the end of class. Please arrive on time. For children aged 10+, please email us to confirm if they have permission to walk home alone, either occasionally or regularly.
  • Arriving 5 minutes early helps children settle in and ensures a smooth start. Please also be punctual for pick-up.
  • We aim to make every child feel safe and supported. If your child requires additional support to participate, we will do our best to make arrangements. If it is not safe to include them, we may suggest alternatives or issue a full refund. Please notify us of any learning or participation requirements before the first session.
  • All children should contribute to a positive and friendly environment, using polite language, respecting materials, and being kind to classmates. Disruptive or damaging behavior is not acceptable.
  • All artwork must be taken home, as we do not have storage space unless pre-arranged.
  • Please inform staff of any allergies, as some sessions may include snacks. You can email us at happyartclub.guildford@gmail.com.

Refunds and Cancellations

We understand that plans can change. If your child cannot attend a scheduled workshop or class, we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund or make-up session due to our current class schedule and studio capacity.

Workshop Cancellations:

  • More than 7 days’ notice: Transfer to another workshop (space permitting), or a refund minus a £10 administration fee if no suitable dates are available.
  • 48 hours’ notice: Credit toward a future booking within 6 months. Unused credits expire after 6 months.

Please note: these options do not apply to term-time group classes.
